Ships Day Open House in Honor of Bob Osterhous
An added feature to this year’s Museum Ships Day celebration will be a special Open House honoring Bob Osterhous from 2-4 p.m. on June 2nd at the Indiana War Memorial. Bob passed away in 2018 and one of his great joys was supporting and volunteering as a tour guide at the re-creation of the radio room of the USS Indianapolis CA-35 in the Indiana War Memorial. We guarantee if anyone ever asked a technical question about the radios, he would have had the answer! If you’d like to be a part of the Open House, or if you’ve never experienced the USS Indianapolis CA-35 Radio Room, this is a great opportunity. Join us!
