Join amateur radio operators (ham) in celebrating Museum Ships Weekend June 1-2. This is a fun opportunity for ham radio enthusiasts to communicate with other museum ships across the world. An added feature to this year’s celebration will be a very special Open House honoring Bob Osterhous from 2-4 p.m. on June 2nd at the Indiana War Memorial. Bob passed away in 2018 and one of his great joys was supporting and volunteering as a tour guide at the re-creation of the USS Indianapolis CA-35 radio room in the Indiana War Memorial. We guarantee if anyone ever asked a technical question about the radios, Bob would have had the answer! If you’d like to be a part of the Open House, or if you’ve never experienced the USS Indianapolis CA-35 Radio Room, this is a great opportunity. Join us!
